These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of this website. Our site is made available free of charge. 

By accessing this website, we assume you accept these terms and conditions.  Do not continue to use this website if you do not agree to all of the Terms and Conditions stated on this page.


The following terminology applies to these Terms and Conditions.  "Client", "you" and "your" refer to you the person logged on to this website and compliant with these terms and conditions.  "The company", "ourselves", "we", "our" and "us" refers to our company which is I-gen Testing Limited. "Party", "parties" or "us" refer to both the client and ourselves.  All terms refer to the offer acceptance and consideration of payment necessary to undertake the process of our assistance to the client in the most appropriate manner for the express purpose of meeting our clients needs.  In respect of provision of companies stated services in accordance with and subject to the prevailing law of the United Kingdom. Any use of the above terminology or other words in the singular, plural capitalisation and/ or he/she or they, are taken as interchangeable and therefore as referring to the same.

Although we make reasonable efforts to update the information on our site, we make no guarantees, representations or warranties, whether express or implied, that the content on our site is wholly accurate, complete or up to date.

Test Site

In the event we offer a testing site you must abide by the rules, policies and instructions of our staff.  The process of taking a sample can be uncomfortable and all of our staff are property trained to take samples if they ever have to assist you and it is appropriate that they assist you. Whilst we advise you to take on board all their guidance, we stress you are responsible at all times for ensuring that your test is accurate.

Home Tests

The purposes of our Home Test (self-swab) PCR tests that we offer in our service are to pick up the presence of the SARS-CoV-2 virus in the nose and throat. The swab samples that you take as part of the testing processes should be labelled by you with each patients details before being sent to be analysed by our partner labs. A positive result signifies the virus is present and the negative that there was no evidence of the virus.  


The purpose of our Home Test (self-swab) Antibody Test is to pick up the presence of IgG antibodies to viral antigen in your blood. A negative result signifies that there was no evidence of previous infection with the virus from the test.

The purpose of our Lateral Flow Test (self-test) is to detect the presence of viral antigens in your system. A negative results signifies that there was no evidence of the virus from the test.

You assume full responsibility for complying with the instructions included within our testing kits that we provide to you.  Not following these instructions may render results unreliable. We will not be obligated to offer refunds as a result of inaccurate results arising from our test kits as long as our service is delivered with reasonable diligence and care. You accept that no test is 100% accurate and that there is a risk of false positives and false negatives.  These risks are inherent to the testing process and we will not be obligated to offer a refund if such a result occurs.

If ordering for multiple people the first person additionally needs to state a delivery address, which should be the address covering all people tests are ordered for. All fields should be completed for patients 2,3,4 and 5. Failure to complete all fields may result in your test being cancelled without refund. This is because all details are required to be collected by the Government and/or to be submitted to Public Health England. If you unintentionally omit information or provide inaccurate information we will make reasonable effort to contact you to complete or update your details. However, it is your responsibility to ensure information you provide is complete and accurate.  If you are unresponsive and all information is not obtained, your test will not be able to be completed and you will not be entitled to a refund.

Delivery method used may be subject to change without notice due to changes to our supply chain.


  • Medical consent: medical consent is different from the consent you give us to process your personal data. By booking a test from us you are providing your medical consent to be tested.

  • Consent for processing of your personal data; This is different from medical consent and is consent under data protection law. By booking a test you are giving us your consent to process your personal data (including but not limited to Name:, Email Address, Telephone Number, Address & Postcode, Date of Birth and Passport/ ID card reference number) and share this with any third party involved in providing our service as well as public health authorities. We do not rely on consent as a legal basis to process your data where for example it is required by law that we have to report results to public health authorities. You may withdraw your consent, where we rely on it, at any time to the processing of your personal data by contacting info@igentesting.co.uk. You also have the legal right where we process your data to request; access to it, transfer of it, correction of it or deletion of it. You can also request restriction of its processing or object to how it is processed.


You are responsible for ensuring the information you supply to us in connection with your order is accurate and hold no responsibility for not delivering kits to you should you provide us the wrong postcode or wrong details in the address. We will not be obliged if following the courier's arrival at the address you provide us with there is no answer within 5 minutes and the courier therefore leaves with an incomplete test kit. We will not be obliged should you fail to administer the test yourselves and return the completed kits within a reasonable period of time to offer you a refund if the courier leaves. We deliver soley to the postcodes mentioned in the FAQs of our website when booking. We will endeavour to facilitate requests for test kits within the M25 if you contact us separately to arrange this.  A surcharge may apply for tests outside of our postcode and will be calculated on a case by case basis.

We will always aim to send you the test kit at the timeslot that you have chosen in your booking, but we offer no guarantees. We will not be obliged to offer a refund when circumstances beyond our control affect the delivery of our test kit(s). We may change the delivery method at our discretion if for whatever reason we feel this is necessary and unlikely to impact our service to you.

Appointment Eligibility

We can only grant appointments to clients under the age of 18 if the registration process is properly completed by a parent or legal guardian and our service does not address anyone under the age of 13.

In the event we offer a testing site, we cannot offer appointments to clients who have not been permitted a way to travel and way to our testing sites without breaching lockdown or other government imposed restrictions; nor to clients who have returned from a red-list country in 10 days prior to their appointments and who thereby require a quarantine period under UK Governmental guidelines (excluding governmental guidelines permitting such appointments, for example the government approved test to release programme and day 2 and 8 testing for those entering from non red-list countries).

If you believe you have Covid-19 due to the fact you are experiencing symptoms or have been in contact two weeks prior to your test with other individuals who have tested positive or for any other reason we will not offer you an appointment. Please check the government guidelines to ensure it is appropriate the you order a home test kit or come to our testing centre for a test in the event we offer site testing.

You should follow the government guidelines and use the NHS service to order a test if you have at least one of the following three symptoms:

  • High temperature

  • New continuous cough

  • You've lost your sense of smell or taste

If we are unable to fulfil your order due to unforeseen circumstances such as running out of testing kits or stock we will inform you and refund you.

Service to Companies

If you are a company intending on conducting a testing programme for your employees, we can assist you by providing swab taking services and analysis of samples to aid in the diagnosis of Covid-19.  We can provide PCR, the NHS recommended gold standard of testing to confirm active infection with Covid-19.  We will soon also be able provide you with Home Test Antibody Kits for you to be able to administer to employees to confirm whether they have had Covid-19 in the past. We can provide bulk discounts relative to prices offered to the public.  Please contact us at info@igentesting.co.uk for more information.


Our prices for our tests are as follows.

£55 per individual PCR Test Only, £55 for PCR Fit to Fly, £55 for PCR Test to Release (day 5), £55 for PCR Day 2 Test and £98 for PCR Day 2 & 8 Test Test. If you book with us for more than 5 tests you will receive 5% off total cost.  For bookings for more than 5 people, please contact us and we can arrange this separately.

For Antibody Home Test Kits and Lateral Flow Test Kits coming soon we will work out appropriate pricing and discount structures, which are to be confirmed.  Please check back for more details later.

Donation to NHS

For a donation you make to the NHS of £2.50 when booking, we will match this. The £5 donation will go towards departments of the NHS of our choice and we will publicise the amounts raised every 6 months on our website.

Services to Companies

If you are a company intending on conducting a testing programme for your employees, we can assist you by on-site providing swab taking services and analysis of samples to aid in the diagnosis of Covid-19 using, the gold standard NHS recommended PCR test. We can also provide your company with Lateral Flow Kits if you require. Please contact us at info@igentesting.co.uk for more information. We are able to provide bulk discounts as special corporate rates.


The equipment that is used in our testing processes are approved for use in the EU (carrying CE-IVD approval). Our test kits in the UK will be regulated by the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA). In the event we establish a test site, everyone taking swabs will be equipped with appropriate Personal Protective Equipment. For Home Tests all our couriers will take reasonable protective precautions.

Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

You may only receive a refund for your booked test from us if you change your mind within 48 hours of booking but not within 48 hours before the test is due to be made. As our tests are categorised as medicinal products under 'The Consumer-Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges)' Regulation your right to change your mind and cancel within 14 days is not applicable.

However, we will allow you to reschedule your test within 48 hours of your appointment, but not within 24 hours of your appointment. This will be subject to availability and come with a £10 administration fee. You will need to contact us at info@igentesting.co.uk to reschedule your appointment.

You may expect to receive a refund within three working days of your cancellation and we will always endeavour to refund your costs as soon as possible. Nevertheless, we will offer no guarantee that you will receive a refund within a given time despite our best endeavours.


Refunds will be processed in accordance with our cancellation policy.  You should also read the section 'home tests' and 'delivery' for other instances in which you would not be entitled to a refund. If entitled to a refund it will be processed and made to you within 5 working days of your request. All refunds will be processed to the same card on which your booking was made.

We reserve the right to request that you remove all links or any particular link to our website.  You approve to immediately remove all links to our website upon request.  We also reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions and its linking policy at any time. By continuously linking to our website, you agree to be bound to and follow these linking Terms and Conditions.

It is not guaranteed that our site or its content will always be available.  We reserve the right to suspend, withdraw or restrict the availability of all or any part of our site.

Removal of Links from Our Website

If you find any link on our website to be offensive for any reason, you are free to contact and inform us at any moment. We will consider requests to remove links, but we are not obligated to do so or to respond to you directly.

This includes should you miss a flight wedding or any other important event;

  • limit or exclude our liability for events outside of our control including the above two points and your actions;

  • limit or exclude our or your liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;

  • limit or exclude our or your liability for breach of statutory duties;

  • limit or exclude our or your liability in any way that is not permitted under applicable law or

  • exclude any of our or your liabilities that may not be excluded under applicable law
